Another fantastic ANZAC Day at Newport Bowling Club brought our community together in a wonderful celebration of connection, support, and the spirit that defines Newport. The greens were full of members and guests who came together to honour this significant day in our nation’s calendar.

Days like this truly show what Newport Bowling Club is all about – bringing people together in a spirit of camaraderie and respect. The atmosphere throughout the day was special, with everyone contributing to make it a memorable occasion for all who attended.

A huge thank you goes to Dave Hastie and Steve Eurers (GM) for their leadership in organising such a successful day. Our incredible volunteers and staff worked tirelessly to ensure everything ran smoothly, creating an experience that honoured the significance of ANZAC Day while fostering the warm community atmosphere Newport is known for.

We’re also grateful to our sponsors who supported the day, and to all the members who helped throughout – from setting up in the morning to those who pitched in for the big clean up at the end. Your collective efforts made the day a real success and demonstrated the strong community spirit that makes our club so special.
